People hate competition unless they are the winners who benefit from it.

The spiritual value of unconditional love may be unlimited, but the resources to support people giving unconditional love are. In addition, the unconditional love is an emotional support. It is important, but for problems like climate change that people suffer in their physical lives, spiritual healing is not enough to support their lifestyle recovery.
Unconditional love is subjective and often is not accessible and distributable.
When it is a 1-time unmanageable problem, unconditional love from society may encourage the speed of recovery of the affected areas. However, when problems like climate change are human-made long-term challenges, it will negatively affect our society's stability.
By default, our current earth resources are limited and we need market competition to allocate resources efficiently and effectively to the solutions that has the biggest positive climate outcomes. Creating hope with solid scientific evidences and solutions are morally practical and better than unconditional love, when it comes to problem-solving.
